Hats, Hearts & Handbags is an annual event held by the Girls Place where ladies from all over the community gather to celebrate the Girls Place by donating their time to hold a spectacular luncheon that has helped the Girls Place for over 5 years!

Barbeque Lunch Delivery

The 17th Annual Barbeque Lunch Delivery will be held on October 8th, 2010.

For accurate delivery, orders must be received by October 1st, 2010.

This annual fundraiser delivers BBQ lunches to businesses and individuals all over the community.

This year's scramble was held from February 18th thru 20th, 2010.

This two-day event benefits the Girls Place, the Boys and Girls Club of Alachua County, and the Children's Home Society of Florida. Since 1991, scores of volunteers and thousands of golfers have participated in the Scramble for Kids. The Scramble for Kids has raised more than $1 million dollars for area children in need.

Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony

Held the first Thursday in December every year.

This event honors girls, parents, alumni, volunteers and board members from the year who have stood out in their contributions to the Girls Place.

Celebrity Grill

Held every other year, the celebrity grill is an event that honors a local person from the community who has made a difference for the Girls Place with some good natured fun. The event is a blast for all who attend.

The last event was held in 2007, and the honoree was Marilynn Tubb.
