Open Positions:

Food Service Supervisor (UF Federal Work Study Students ONLY):

• • Must be committed Monday-Friday until August 20, 2010.
• • Staff to be hired immediately
• • Applicants must pass a background check and be at least 18 years old.
• • This position is open only to candidates who are currently eligible to receive federal work study at the University of Florida.
• • Staff member is required to be present for the entire summer with no planned vacations or breaks.
• • This position requires handling our breakfast and lunch programs for the duration of our summer camp program. It is necessary that this person is consistent with filling out paperwork, anticipating the weekly schedule and preparing food accordingly and being able to work well with children.

 

After School Sports and Recreation Camp Counselors

• • Must be committed Monday-Friday from August 16 - January 1, 2011
• • Applicants must be available from 1:30-6:00 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 12:15-6:00 on Wednesdays.
• • Applicants must also be available full time on school holidays (includes winter holidays)
• • Applicants must pass a background check and be at least 18 years old
• • This position is also open to candidates who are currently eligible to receive federal work study at the University of Florida.

Van or Bus drivers

• • Must be committed Monday-Friday from August 16 - January 1, 2011
• • Applicants must be available from 1:15-3:00 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 12:00-4:30 on most Wednesdays.
• • Applicants will also have the opportunity to work full time on school holidays (includes winter holidays)
• • Applicants must also have a clean driving record and be at least 21 years old (required by insurance company)
• • A class B or C is needed to drive our vehicles
• • Applicants must pass a background check
• • This position is also open to candidates who are currently eligible to receive federal work study at the University of Florida.
